    Looking for 356 project - not running -rusty Ok

    Hi

    I am looking for a 356 Project car , that un-loved one that needs a new life

    If you know of one stuffed in the back of a body shop or sitting in a shop for the last 10 years "getting fixed" please let me know

    Not the best forum to look but I know a few here in NY. What is your budget? You will need at least a good $20K for a mostly complete car. If you are looking for that 1979 barn find for under $3K then please do not reply.

    You don't mention a preference in year or model... or your location, which will be an issue when shipping a roller.

    There's always a few candidates of varying degrees of crispiness and rational pricing on the Samba. Decent '59 is up right now.
    Since the 356 Registry brain trust went country club to exclude non-members from the forum, that's your best hunting ground.
