    St Christophorus Factory Medal

I recently obtained a St Christophous factory medal below. I am told these were given out when owners went to Zuffenhausen to pick up thier cars.

these were placed on the 911's dash. Does anyone know where they were placed?

Ok lots of looks, but no responses. I really cannot find a whole lot of information on this item. I will just find a spot that looks good to mount.

    take care -- rr

hmm. . . is your St. Christopher medallion a metal slug embossed with a paper backing, then another layer of metal?

I think my dash had one installed when I got the car. There was no marking on it at all, so I think there was something else over the top which was midding. But that would explain it.

Hmmm.. What about this picture? Very original 73RS barn find. Hard to see the details on the radio delete plate, but it looks very similar.

I'd seen them more on 356 models on the dash. Maybe the glove lid?
