Check this one out, RS engine on eBay...

    http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Sorry this one is in German! The first posting on eBay was removed
(highest bid then €15,500,-) and one day later came back with the excuse that their account was hacked. I did ask for the engine number and this was I got.
I have not asked from which car the engine came from and the history behind it, but I have sincere doubts this is a genuine RS engine

Re-Stamp. The deck is even thin where it the "old" number used to roost.

This is a rare engine and the only reason it was saved. As you can see somebody got a little angry with it.
The welder did an admirable job but the real prep was "dressing" the work.

And of a bigger importance, the repair has been documented with photos.
