Due they costs the same money to prepare properly, do you suggest a 2.3L short stroke or a 2.5L long stroke for FUNNY driving?

For the most part the build cost, labor, should be very close. The cost variables will be for special parts and prep (machining).

If you have like to like components cost will be comparable. For example if both builds are twin plug the cost would be similar. Twin plug vs single plug would be a premium.

Comparable quality parts will be close in cost.

Rare parts; like Hi Butterfly, slidevalve, twin plug dizzy, TI rods, 906 rockers, etc; will drive cost up very quickly.
