Picked up 1st Season of Street of San Francisco

Great fun. The series was filmed on location in SF back in 1972 with lots of outside location scenes. There are at least 2-3 early 911 drive by sightings in every episode. Great fun. The pilot had Robert Wagner driving a series 1 1/2 E type primrose colored coupe. Karl and Michael are stuck driving a brown Ford LTD, and the series has one of the best theme songs in all of tv history. Someone channeled Jimmy Hendrix and Curtis Mayfield to come up with the wah wah guitar work.

I've also spotted some early 911s in some newer movies. Most recent (for me) was Lymelife where there was a model early 911 in the opening scenes. Next was The Day After Tomorrow where an early 911 gets flattened by a flying truck
