I'll be there if I can make it across the bridge without my car stalling seem to be having an intermittent CDI problem at the moment.

    Hi Bob,

When you are over at FJ please say "hi" to 'Gramps' for me (the Irish Green '70S), this car is one of my all time favorite 911s. You guys on the west coast will finally get to see 'him', a 75K original mile and paint gem.

    Brian,
Went to FJ to see the cars for the first time. Usually I spend the day talking to Jim and have never thought to go to see the cars.
We took a look at "Gramps". The best Porsche there and looking good. The only thing it needs is some touch up on the leading edge of the hood and it would be a contender.
Can't say much about the rest of the collection though. Normal gaggle of overpriced Ferraris and some other Italian stuff.
My favorite of the non Porsches was the Arnolt Bristol. Funky car.

    records for "Gramps"

    Hi guys

I had the luck to be able to buy "Gramps" and am now looking forward to receive it in about 2 weeks over here in Zurich, Switzerland. What is kind of sad is that it apparently comes with only one recent record for some transmission work. How can such a car have only one record? They must be out there somewhere! I know that a few guys on this board have owned it and I would greatly appreciate it if one of you could help me with copies or the original records. Part of the fun for me is to go through the old records of my cars. It would be a real shame if the records of Gramps got lost somewhere in the line....

Thank you very much for any hint or help preserving its history.

I'd be happy to send the ones that can help a very nice Swiss pocket knife as a "token of my appreciation".

And yes, I promise to not touch the paint

    Cheers,
    Mike
