    OliveR; could you please post a picture of the big O-ring mating surface? Very nice part that I would love to own as mine is a bit pitted around the edge of the O-ring mating surface....

    These 2 pics show 2 different oil filter consols, Alan's is black and OliveR is silver. Does anyone know when they changed from the black painted magnesium alloy to the silver aluminum?
