Anyone know what a DETA ... 14V is?

I'm converting my 69 back to a two battery system (PO converted it to one battery) and I'm making sure that I don't do any harm and that I undo everything related to the previous conversion. I found this is in the engine bay and was wondering what it is.

That is a voltage regulator complete with RFI supression block (the thing below it)-- DETA never made alternators for 911s so that is aftermarket-- remove both items and replace with a Motorola or Bosch depending on who made your alternator.
