    For Sale: 1955 Pre A Speedster

    I have an acquaintance here in the Chicago area that has his 1955 Pre A Speester for sale. It is ser# 80844. He has owned it for 30 years and claims it to be very original (meaning "all there") and rust free - in excellent condition. Restoration was completed in 1981 and the scope of that restoration included professional painting, rebuilding/replacement of all mechanicals, rebuild of upgraded 1600 and original transmission. Only 6,000 rain free miles have been put on the car since restoration.

    Color is Light Ivory with black interior. Car also includes tool kit, owner's manual, two binders containing Kardex and Porsche factory correspondence, and numerous Speedster publications. He is asking $125,000. I am happy to provide any additional information regarding the car to interested parties. PM me with your interest and I can provide information and photos.
