    What are these P/C

Found these in a barn with a lot of other stuff. Any ideas on what they are? What's the best way to clean them up? My diesel-purple parts cleaner is great for steel and Al, but Mg not so much.

67S, but to be sure. Inside the piston you will find a number. You can look than number up in a chart that has been posted by Tom Butler.

Thank you Richard, I think I found Tom's chart. I cleaned the insides of two of them, only found a letter E.

thanks guys, a few pics. they all have the E (maybe a Mahle logo?) on the inside and -1 on the crown. Haven't gone through them thoroughly, one face is badly pitted and here's a broken skirt, but they might be usable to someone when what they are is nailed down. they are 80mm.

I think it's an aftermarket piston in an OEM cylinder. The skirt looks to be different. May be an Empi piston?

On the crown, well below the -1, there appears to be another letter. Perhaps an E or M. A better closeup may help define this. EMPI did make piston sets, so this is a possibility; does anyone have examples of the EMPI pistons?

Isn't that hard to see symbol on the crown the 'Mahle' mark?
