SWB Koni struts & Special D inserts

it is my understanding that the current offering from Koni fits, but internally they are not the same as the original units. Smaller pistons are used resulting in a softer ride. comments ?

prices include delivery to the lower 48 via ground. i decided to go w/ SC type front stuff.
struts w/ used inserts $450 spindle lock nuts included if you need them.
Special D inserts. one has a ding that won't effect performance. $400

in response to an offline request, yes dust covers are included. here's a shot of the set after a light clean up. one strut will need a bearing race replaced.
also, did i read that the inserts are NLA ?

Ahh this must be cut from a pelican thread. They are not available but you can rebuild the old ones at a Koni repair facility. So what do you need for the new inserts I am interested?

By the way I have a single SWB Koni strut housing that is missing its partner. Anyone need just one house then email me.

Dutch made Koni shocks are rebuildable. the currrent price for '86' series units is $165 ea. (+ shipping both ways)
