    15" Wheels on standard fender

Sorry, but I did a search and could not find what I was looking and I know someone has this information right at their fingertips.

On a 1970 standard fender car (no alterations), what is the widest 15" wheel front and rear that can be mounted as well as the offset?

    Thanks in advance.

The rear list is a little confusing. I think the narrow body cars were put in with the RS,SC and 3.2 Carreras.
A 70 rear fender is very close (ie sometimes rubs) with a 7X15 (23) with 205/60 on it. I am refering to a stock car. 225/50s will fit if you have stiff race suspension with a lot of camber and rolled lips.
We have been able to put a wider tire with a 8 that was made by widening a 7 on the inside. But not much bigger than a 225/50.
The best fit is a 7R type offset with a 225/50 and 15mm spacer.
    IMHO
And fronts have plenty of room for 7X15s (23).
