Checking Availability: Factory RS bumper corners

I am considering adding factory RS flares to my 73T. I can get the bumper corners from Porsche for less than I thought, but still quite a lot.

Haven't seen them advertised in a while, are they out there? Price?

Alternatively, has anyone taken a plastic 1-piece rear bumper and cut the corners off and glassed in proper mounts?

thanks Alan, yes, I can get them from Porsche for as little $540 + 20% + shipping from Germany. Stoddard has one in stock I believe.

I am buying one set that are a little bit of a mystery, one looks factory and one looks made up, both have issues but the price the right.

I'm hoping I can find a decent set at a good price in the next 2+ months.

I'm not a big fan of modifying any early body, even my thrown together 73T, so want to at least use all factory sheetmetal.

    Hi Shaun

I have an original pair taken from a RS. They need work but are 100% originals. I can grab some pics if it helps but it may be a few days. I will also get a quote for you for a new pair if it helps.

    Thanks

    Alan

    Hi Shaun,

Sorry I did not get any snaps today, but here is one on the car before we stripped it. It looks better than it is. I can also supply new ones if it helps. Mine are around $500 each plus shipping.

    Thanks

    Alan

    Thanks Alan,

I'll be in the market for a pair, either NOS or factory used, middle of February it looks like. Just missed a driver side on UK eBay sold for 250 pounds.

    Hi Shaun,

If I can help let me know. I knew of the one that just sold on ebay, in fact I was round his house the other day looking at something else. But at £250 it is not that far of what they are new from Porsche. Last time I checked a few days ago there were 2 pairs in Germany.
