This car is seriously, no scratch that, SCARY fast. It is detuned to run on 91-octane pump gas and still puts out 500rwhp!! With the Motec, you can reprogram it for 100 octane and get almost 600hp out of it!!

You can download up to 30 minutes of driving time and see your shift points and throttle openings. You can fine-tune the car even while you drive. The injection system on the motor is a hybrid of the stock 3.2 high flowing Carrera intake manifold coupled with an intercooler the size of a small house.
Exhaust system- custom made stainless with heater boxes, offset mounted Turbonetics turbocharger with dual Tial investment cast stainless waste gates (controlled by the Motec, currently set at 1.1 bar on 91 octane pump gas), custom muffler with boost controlled second exit, oxygen sensor feedback to Motec.
Engine- Race valve springs, ported heads, cams, Raceware rod and head bolts, 3.4 litre Mahle pistons and cylinder set, all balanced and blueprinted.
Transmission- 4-speed turbo with limited slip differential, sport clutch with race pressure plate.

Recently (October 2007), Excellence did a beautiful 3-page feature on the car. Zachary Mayne (long time R Gruppe follower) did a very complimentary article titled “Sensible Speed.”

Over the last year, the current owner has spent over $5,000 going through the car mechanicals and making sure everything was in proper working order. Black Forest in San Diego, CA performed all the recent work.
