Correct Weber jetting for a 2.9?

I'm about to install Weber IDA 40's on my 2.L motor (with S cams). Anyone have recommendations as to the proper jetting to start with?

    Thanks for your advice.

    2.9 or 2.0?

    what is the actual size?
s cams. what port sizes, compression ratio etc

If it is a 2.0 S clone, that is easy, same as a stock s. A 2.9 is tricker.

    Mike,

Stock factory 2.0 litre "S" jetting is very good.

If you are asking about a 2.9, send me an e-mail with all the details about your engine, exhaust system, and location and I'll provide some good starting settings that will work for you.

    Thanks Steve,

I'll shoot you an email, but the motor is a 2.9. S cams and S heads. SSI and stock muffler in the back. I'm in LA, so no altitude to speak of.

Sorry that I left you off of there Tom - my apologies.

Appreciate you taking the time to reply and asking me to fill in some of the blanks that I forgot.

    Best,

    Mike
