Black sport seats

Optional Recaro sport seats starting in 1968. These 2 sport seats have been recovered in black vinyl. These are in excellent condition, both recliners work perfectly. The seats are complete with 'H' brackets and factory sliders. Both seats have headrest receptacles but no headrests. They are pictured on page 98 of Brian Long's book ( Porsche 911, The Definitive history 1963 to 1971 ). As an added note, out of all the sport seats, they are probably the most comfortable, especially for a robust body.

Nice looking seats. I'm not sure they are the same as the ones in Long's book. Do you know which years they were available, or when this pair was made?
