    Chrome TTG horn grilles REPRO

Okay, my experiment in making chromed TTG grilles is done. I used Factory plastic grilles as a starting point, because they are the correct size, and the repro grilles are not.

I cut and ground the plastic grilles to shape and then had them chromed at no small expense. It was an experiment and the results are pretty good, but not quite show quality. The upside is that plastic will never corrode. These are for '69-72...

These look great....I'd buy them but they won't fit my SWB.

    Best of luck.

decent work Bill, they look pretty good, better than my first attempt with the repros. I'll let my buyer know if he would prefer yours. I have a huge deposit on the 69S.......

I have a second set that are standard early '72 plastic factory horn grilles that have been rechromed. They look excellent and will never corrode like the (heavy) pot metal ones.

I'm not sure what chassis number in '72 Porsche stopped using these, but they were at least on the first 500 or so.
