For what it's worth, here is a breakdown on the cost of a set of wheels like this.

    Core set of wheels $2200
Restoration $1950 (Deep Six Valve Stem Fix, Misc Curb Rash Repair, Shipping&Insurance)
    Additional Shipping Charges $200

    Total $4350

    Quality is never cheap!!!

    Beautiful set of wheels!

If you add up the $$ that's what it costs these days for a set of core wheels (are you sure you'll get straight ones??), then ship them to Harvey (have him work his magic), and then back to you....well this is how much you'll be into them. Plus, no waiting!! I just checked the pricing... so don't be surprised the next time you do a set yourself....

    Good luck!

Spent an entire Saturday with Harvey at his shop a couple weeks ago. Walked away with far more respect for his level of craftsmanship. There is so much time, knowledge, and untouchable skill that goes into the prep work that Harvey never mentions. He does whatever it takes to deliver the perfect wheel.
