    FS: 73.5 fuel tank

    This is a like new 73.5 fuel tank that holds a full size spare. Will fit up to ’89 but correct for that year only. It was from a 1969 912 and could be used for any of the early cars with the fittings shown. I bought this at Pomona 4 years ago thinking that I would use it on my car. I was told by the owner that he had bought it for his '69 targa new OEM but that car succumbed to rust. I treated the tank with POR 15 Metal Wash when I got it and it had no rust then. I again treated with the Metal wash to check it and it is as clean as new. Still has 99% of the original undercoating with only a few scrapes on the bottom. Includes the VDO fuel sender and fittings shown. The funky looking stuff on the edge is the foam gasket. $300, prefer pickup at Mojave,CA 93501. I would be willing to deliver to Antelope Valley or Bakersfield. Will ship for cost plus a small handling/packing fee.
