Note that it is a contest. Not too many "free" track days.

Still, a great venue. I have driven this track a few times and it's both challenging but relative low speed in the fastest segments.

Yep. Someone will win that contest. Receive free track days. And have an amazing weekend with the POC. Could be someone reading this post right now!

    Hi Sandy,
Question about El Toro, do they allow passing in designated areas w/point by while doing continuous laps?
Long ago the problem I heard was that El Toro would not allow passing, has that changed?
Like to join you when my car is ready.
    thanks
    Mike

    Hey, Mike --

Interesting question which I don't have the official answer to.

As far as I'm aware, when a POC STS event runs, the POC makes the rules. We always have designated passing areas with point-by's for 4 of our 5 run groups. The fastest, race-licensed Red group is allowed to pass anywhere on the track.

All that being said, to get the "official" answer to this, best to contact Marty Mehterian via the POC website.

Hope to see you out there!
