The economy has taken its toll on me so reluctantly a car that I thought would be a long term keeper has to go. Here is some info:
1972 PORSCHE 911T 2.4 MFI TARGA
-Under 28,000 mile, California car
-Factory Hellgelb 117 (Light Yellow) with Black
-Matching numbers as per COA
-VIN 9112110910
A low mileage, all original, rust free California car. One of approximately 1,821 1972 T Targas produced. The car was repainted in the original Light Yellow color and has its original, nearly perfect black interior. Paint is rich, beautiful and swirl free. The carpets are outstanding. Chrome is also in great condition with very few scratches and certainly no rust. Dash pad is excellent with only speaker panel showing a couple of minor cracks. Door panels are excellent as well as sun visors. Car also has its original, working Blaupunkt radio. All gauges work properly, even “fasten seat belt” light works. Targa top is as new. Mechanically, the car is superb, previous owner having car serviced by TLG in California (I have over $5K in receipts) and most recently by Russ Kelso’s PMCI in New Mexico where in addition to receiving a full service, an auxiliary oil cooler was added to enhance drivability. This addition is the only non-stock item on car. Recently the car was shipped to Florida where it has been extensively detailed (over 80 hours) and had many items cleaned, restored and/or preserved by renowned detailer Eddy Fiuza at Passion for Detailing. Again, the car is bone-stock and will hold up to any inspection. The pictures speak for themselves and I have many more hi-res pictures should you require them. The only negative is that I do not have original tool kit, but I have the owner’s manual. The previous owners confirm that car was sold new at Chick Iverson in Newport Beach, CA, driven for a few years then stored from 1975-2005. The 2 prior owners in CA performed the work to get the car back on road.
Please contact me via PM for more info or pictures. I will post more picture as time allows. My price is $48,500 or best offer. I am posting exclusively on this forum (at least for a few days) in hopes that a member buys the car, like I did. There is a seperate thread in general section thats shows a lot of the work performed at PFD.
