Lesonal single stage Slate Gray question

    Hi all,
I´m trying to find pictures of slate gray cars with the correct Lesonal single stage paint. I´m going to respray my car back to the original color when I have the money. Single stage paint is no longer legal in Norway, so I´m not sure I will manage to find a way to do it right, but will try.
I wonder if any of you have info on the resto of Seinfelds "First" 911 that was restored by Werk 1? Was this car painted with single stage paint??

Asked Frank Gallogly about the McQueen car and he said it was repainted before he got it, and he had no info on what kind of paint was used. Milou is also checking what kind of paint was used on the Siffert car.

One of the pictures I got from Frank:

All these cars are absolutely stunning, but the color seems sometimes a bit different. Could be the light etc, but would like to know if it is worth it going the single stage road.

    Thanks, Radmund

Nah, 300 049 (Jerry Seinfeld's car) was paint to sample.

I have always believed your link shows an earlier car.

    Edit: You are quite right..

The man I bought it from bought it directly from PCNA when it was 6 mos. old.
It was used by Herbert Dramm, the Factory Service Rep for No. America.
Fantastic car, light, balanced, and a joy to drive.

Slate gray is one of those colors that can look very different depending on the light. Unless Alfin parks his car next to yours, opinions about the shade and character of your repaint will be just that!
