One Lap around Sebring at PCA Race

    Gents,

I just raced with PCA at the 48 hr of Sebring event.

I won my class on both sprint races and the overall on the enduro with the little screamer

I uploaded a lap at youtube for your enjoyment. Nothing fancy on that lap; no traffic just a bit of operator induced gear grind coming into the hairpin and a lap time of 2:26.4 which is VERY fast for a 2 liter car on street tires.

    Enjoy!!!!

    Glad you enjoyed the video!

I'll upload some more over the weekend. That was a busy enduro having to maneuver all sorts of newer Pcars as traffic.

Awesome! I can't think of a better way to spend time. It's been too long since I have run at that track!

    NICE datalogging.

What was terminal speed on the straights?

    What is your rev limit?

What was max observed lateral g (probably a trade secret so add a tick or two )

    What was max braking g?

    What was your oil temperature?

I echo Chuck's sentiment that your video put me on the edge of my Herman Miller Aeron for several minutes!

    John,

Must look at the Motec data to give you precise info. The G bars are from the Chasecam set up but you can see the Motec ADL dash mounted on the roll cage where the glove box used to be.

This is what know off the top of my head:

What is your rev limit? 8K

What was your oil temperature? never went over 190 (was a cold day-car never runs over 200 even on hot Florida, Atlanta or CT days).

A lot of guys with cars with big slicks and even bigger wings are perhaps still wondering what flew by them......

Wait until I post the videos doing 2:27's in traffic...... Go get a harness for the Herman Miller chair

Some say, that he has a tattoo of his face on his face. All I knew is that he's called The Stigs (latino cousin ).
