    WTB: '68 Side Indicators

These may be unobtainium. I'm looking for a pair of the red side indicators that were used on the '68. I have the yellow front ones, but the red ones have been tough to find.

    Thanks,

    John,
Do a search on the 912 registry. There was a guy there who was reproducing them. Seems to me he wasn't pleased with his first batch and was developing a second for better reflection.

Here's the thread on the 912 Registry about the guy making them, but the last post is from May of '08. It might be worth a shot to contact him.

I've not looked into this too deeply... but the side indicators on the 68 to 72 Mercedes look a LOT like the 68 911 side indicators. It wouldn't surprise me....

Also, there's been a few of these on ebay from time to time.

Who is the Stoddard of the vintage Mercedes world?

A real quick google search just to see what would pop up, ... No 68's still at the house, but these have a chrome base, and I just realized that the Porsche one's don't have the chrome ring....
