341 is royal purple but on my monitor I thought the colour was dalmation blue from the photos before I read the text. I had a dalmation blue RS and in the evening (when most of those photos looked to have been taken) it did take on a purple hue. I wonder if the car has been painted the correct colour?

    This is royal purple
(thanks to Alan for the photo)

I have not seen the car yet, but I know the neighborhood.

I believe he's a dealer of some sort as he always seems to have something for sale (Ferrari, Lambo, etc.) parked at his place. I find it amusing that he photographed the car in front of a neighbors house. He has stopped me in the past to ask if I was interested in selling my '69E.

As you can see from his extraordinary prose he is quite the story teller... Caveat emptor!

Sure does look a lot like Dalmation, I had one as well... I just assumed it was my monitor or the camera taking the pics.

    My old 73.5T...

I do not understand how this car is getting so much activity.

Color looks to be in between Albert and Dalmation blue in the Ebay add....but I think the car looks nice even with the non-correct Pepita etc.

Me too. There are so many things wrong with the 'restoration' I lost count.

    color

Whatever color it is,they liked it enough to spray the rear latch with it.Some underside pics would have been better than the extraneous verbage.

Maybe that's how the painter who has all the cars on the floor at SEMA thought it should look. After some scrutiny I think I know why there's so much activity on the car.

I have not checked the auction, but I bet I can guess!
