    Early Heads

    Have just been offered a set of heads with the following markings:

    Date 64-10 Casting Number 901 104 304 05

    My guess is that they are very early.,

    Any Thoughts?

    No "R" and and an oval enclosing the part number like this?

    Heads

    Quite right there is an R in front and they are in a Oval.

    They have just been taken off an engine with an early 1R/2R Case set
