FS: Factory numbered 3.0 RS fiberglass whaletail

I have invested over $1,500 in restoration and paint prep, only to decide not to use it on a project. Would like to at least recoup my money. $2,450.00 including the large engine grill and small upper tail grill that were on the tail when I got it, plus shipping. Trade for an aluminum engine lid or authentic R type engine lid in like condition. Please email to: jpnorthwood@aol.com

This is not a early turbo tail as it does not have a 930 part number, but a 911 one. Also, this is not the larger/longer tail used on the race spec 3.0RS, but the road going 3.0 RS spec. It is all fiberglass, not metal base w/ fiberglass attached. Please see attached factory part number listing for 3.0 RS (type 911SC RSG):

Pulling up an old thread here for market advice - I own this wing now, and damaged it driving back from California to North Carolina a week and a half ago; now I'm trying to establish value for my conversations with the insurance company. (I'm going to have it repaired)

Any guidance as to actual current market value?

Wow Keith, first off glad you’re (hopefully) ok? What a bummer. I can’t help you with a value, but I’m sure some here can and will chime in. I’d ‘assume’ if you have stated value coverage it might be easier to get repaired, as if anything is easy when you’re asking an insurance co. to shell out anything. Best of luck.

Thanks - I'm just fine. Wing and rear of car, not so much!
