    FS: RARE STEEL 100L TANK with SENDER

    Selling a rare factory Porsche 100L rally tank and sending unit. These are very hard to come by. Date stamped 1/67. It is in excellent unrestored condition having just come out of running car. No leaks or rust issues. Asking $4,300 plus shipping or best offer. Here are some pics.

    Sorry Wayne - I stuffed up my last post reply. The kids were screaming in the background and I had to go. I meant to say that your tank is a great tank and I wish you well with the sale. It looks in great condition. I have heard the sender units alone are as desirable and collectable as the tanks themselves.

    Who ever buys it will be a lucky person! These are like hen's teeth. I have heard these tanks began use in the 1967 S. Since this is dated 1/67 - it is possible it is even the first tank made?!!
