    Searching for engine 6330225

Thought I'd post to see if anyone might have info on the location of the 2.4 S motor from my car #63300306.
I was told that it had last been seen in the Loa Angeles area.

    Cheers

    6330225

Mike Sofka in SoCal had it for sale 2 years ago. Give him a call and ask about the new owner. Or he might still have the engine.

    Here is the link:

    Good luck.

Thanks for the information. Never struck me to hit the search button.
Looks like he wanted $25K. Seems a bit high for a standard 2.4S motor?

    Cheers

If he still has the engine, then the price was too high.

Here is the Pelican link of the same engine:

I would bet my first born he still has it if he held for 25K.

    Kent, I have the motor.
w/ reference to the comments that have been made re:your thread.
Let me set the record straight!!!
It is for sale. I will trade the existing motor in your car(3.4 w/PMO's) + $15K.
    I will pay for the labor to R & R your motor (3.4 w/ PMO's)and replace w/ 6330225.
TLG is set to do the work.
Any additional parts are @ your expense.
You will then have a matching #'s "S"

    Hello,

    Maybe it's your lucky day!

I've 6330231. I guess this would be close enough to count as the original engine.
It needs to be restored and if you're interested maybe we can come to an agreement

    here some pics
