    SWB vs LWB nudge bar

The nudge bar on my 72 E is bent and needs to be re-chromed so I am interested in finding a reasonably priced replacement. There currently is someone who is creating reproductions but I am not sure it will fit right on my car. His template is off a SWB car and measures approx 31" center line. He told me it does don't center on the overrider but hugs the inside just past the radius edged of the over rider. My nudge bar is centered on the over rider and I believe is another 1/2" longer than what he is making. Does anybody have a LWB that they could measure?
    Thanks

    Hi Craig,

I can measure the one that I have up for sale now when I get home tonight. Will let you know.

LWB bar is longer than 31 inches

Not sure if there is a difference between LWB and SWB, but my spacing on the 72 LWB was 31.28" c to c. Thanks for bringing up the question and raising the awareness. I was able to change my order for that length. I would still like to know what length Porsche used.

    Mike,

You gave me the measurement of 32 -1/2 inches Outside edge to Outside edge. Could you verify which is correct?

My measurements for the centers of the bumpers was (31.282) which is relative to the bolt holes.

Would you mind posting your center to center bolt measurement?
