    WTB: MFI injectors

I have 10 MFI injectors, some of them I bought at this site. I had them tested at my local Bosch shop and got the results today. They where crap.... They ultrasonicly cleaned them, and checked for opening pressure 15-18 bars(approx 250 psi), they opened at 8 bar and more leaked that sprayed. (The manual says check for leaks 2 bar below opening pressure, no droplets in 15 secs. No point in checking these for leaks as them seem to be useless). I need some new ones, or used that has been tested and guaranteed to be good.

    Thanks
    John

    John,

I've been told that if you test new factory injectors only about 80% will be in spec..... they all need to be tested.

    John,

Here is a part number from Bosch.
    0 437 004 003 - 561 014
My previous mechanic put these in my Carrera rebuild a number of years ago.
This might save you a few Euros also.
*** can one of our engine Einsteins pls cross check the Bosch/Porsche(shd be 901 110 271 00) part number for currency - I have done this a quite some time ago but I would not want to cause John any further problems ***

    HTH,
    Cheers,
    Dennis.

Last new set I priced was $1000 for all 6. I later found a set that had been used to run in a motor a later removed. I paid $700 I think and they all tested good.
