Italian 70's front license plate bracket

Through the miracle of the net and registry I have found the original owner and early history of my 73S. This includes the original license plate #. I've had the plates replicated. I could cobble up a bracket but was wondering if anyone out there has an original from the day that I could copy. Photos would be great. I'm specifically interested in the front for the small plate, about 2x10 in. but would like to see the rear as well. BTW I got great stories of the car being driven to ski in Switzerland and high speed runs across Italy etc. The original owner drove it hard and really enjoyed the car. The original dealer is still in business at the same location; Delcar SAS, Varese Italy. Thanks. Steve Early S Reg. #2

Steve, they are already replicated and are available in Italy, don't cost a lot either. If you are interested please let me know and I'll get a couple for you.
I'm glad that you were able to speak to Matteo about his dad's car, he told me he's happy that it has ended in very good hands.

Andrea, good to hear from you. Yes I will take a set of brackets. PM off line with payment and details. BTW Matteo's dad said his choice was between the S and a Dino 246. He thought the Dino shifted like a slug and did not like it at all compared to the S. He took the very first 73 S to come into the dealer in Nov 72. Thanks. Steve Early S Registry #2

Steve and John, I'll go on saturday to a shop where they should have them but please confirm if you prefer to buy them directly on ebay at the link below.
This is the front one on my car:

    Attachment 81444
    Attachment 81445

Here's the rear one on my other 73S, it's directly bolted to the rear panel of the car:
    Attachment 81446

Please note that the small star (between R and 3) cannot be replicated because it's illegal.

If you prefer, you can buy directly on ebay HERE, they are advertised for Fiat 500s but the measures are standard so they are ok.

If anyone needs a reproduction HERE is a supplier of them, there are small differences during the years but from 1963 to 1975 they were unchanged.

    Regards,
    Andrea
