    1968 911S targa for sale, one of 442 made that year the rarest of all early S's
    total engine rebuilt with 2.2 S porsche mahle p's and c's larger heads and lightweight fly wheel.
    very fast, great running 911 needs nothing to be enjoyed for years...COA confirms matchings #'s eng. and trans. more info and pix on pelican parts.com

    from what i understand...all 68 targa's were soft window. porsche started to offer the option of glass due to complaints from owners about noise and leaks. the coa states this as, glass option with defroster... still have the glass in excell. condition. thanks, gary

    Curious if the defroster lines run vertical, or horizontal on the rear window?

    they run vertical, about a 20" wide section from center. a small narrow field... compared to my 73 targa. gary
