For Sale – 1973 911e Very Nice Car Looking for a Good Home

4/27/10 -- Car was sold to a local buyer. thanks to all who called or emailed.

4/26/10 -- My car is available for sale once again. The first sale fell through about 1 month ago but i got busy with other projects and am finally reposting it.

To facilitate a future sale, I split the cost of a PPI from Hergsheimer's Motor Sports in Orange County, CA with the person who had made a tentative offer. I will share it with serious buyers. I have made a few edits in italics to the post below regarding engine, clutch & a few other items.

    1973 911e VIN 9113200586. 76,200 original miles. $37,500.

Very good & solid example of early 911. Five owners from new. Black exterior, black leather interior, black/white hounds tooth upholstery, MFI, original seats, original headliner and dash (no cracks), original glass and chrome. Engine has NOT been rebuilt but has good compression. Original clutch is still in the vehicle. Original window sticker included along with most service records from new, including chain tensioner upgrade. No rust, straight body panels, excellent floor pans, good gaps, two quarter panels have been repainted prior to my purchase of the car. History of car available upon request.

I have owned car since April 2001. I looked for two years for an good example of an early 911 before I purchased this car. I completed the following upgrades: new SSI’s, oil return tubes, new muffler, Carrera oil cooler & lines; Pertronix pointless ignition.

Buyer will have first option to purchase significant collection of new & used spares (some NLA) including MFI injectors, MFI fuel pump, MFI velocity stacks, MFI metal fuel lines, distributor (newly rebuilt by Jerry Woods), spark plugs, ignition coil, points, etc. Estimated retail value of spares is $5,000. SPARES ARE NOT FOR SALE SEPARATE FROM CAR.

Three pages of pictures of exterior, interior, floor pans, undercarriage, and engine bay posted at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/73_911e/.

SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY. I have some flexibility on my price, but will only entertain serious offers.

And please -- NO CALLS TO PURCHASE SPARES
