To any South African members - do you know the history of my car ?

hi to any South African members
I've owned my 1969 Tangerine 911T (build date 14/5/69 and delivery into Pretoria 11/7/69) for a number of years, and am trying to learn about its history.
    All i know is:
    - bought by PO on 12/8/2001 from John Abbot, Kyalami (which seems/seemed to be a Porsche specialist just outside J'Burg

Vin: 119100286, with original engine 6193247

Any leads of PO, photos or history would be much appreciated
    Cheers Paul

I've also got a car from South Africa, although it's not a Porsche. It's also a 1969 vintage. I've had small luck tracking down the history - my car lived mostly in Rhodesia/Zimbabwe. It still has the SA plates on it though. A lot of European cars were imported into Africa at that time.

    Good luck.

    Hi Paul
I worked at john abbot when I was a student around the time your car was there. Porbably drove it at some point. They have since closed down but I know all their members and can get access to their records. Do you have the old SA number plate then I can go and look.
