    Porsche 916 - Auction in Essen

    I'm just passing the info, at the coys auction during the Techno Classica in Essen there will be for sale this rare Porsche 916, one of only 11.

    Wow that interior is totally wild. Can't wait to see it in person.

    Looks like Coys has a very rare M427 version of the Carrera RS up for auction.

    EVERYTHING about this car makes me drool.

    I want a 916 almost as bad as I want one of the two 908-engined 914s given as gifts to the Porsche family.

    $320,000, considering the one for sale in San Francisco a couple of years ago was at least $250,000 USD, is not an unreasonable price. IMO, Europeans are not feeling the conversion pain.
