Wow, I had no idea those were going for that kind of money. Maybe for one of the last years of the 20V, but a 8V, wow.

At current prices they're still bargains compared to Sport Quattros that rarely change hands... but when they do it's roughly 8-10 TIMES as much.

Love the brutish nature of those cars, and the Scirocco on steroids styling for both models has aged very well.

The Fox in good condition today (next to none) deserves the status of the quattro..but it didn't happen.

Attempted to buy this blue car on BaT, but was outbid in the end.
I've been in on the search for a nice semi low mile UR Quattro.
Still looking if anyone has some leads. Thx!

    '85 Quattro . . .

    . . .

'. . . finished in Zermatt Silver Metallic with a Platinum interior.

    • The attached Carfax history report starts in 1985 and lists no accidents in this coupe's past.
    • The seller states that this Quattro is powered by an "MC" engine sourced from a 1990 car and installed in 1993. The list of other modifications made to this Audi includes a 034Motorsport K26/GT28RS turbocharger, a VEMS engine management system with electronic fuel injection, a Stebro exhaust system, a 2Bennett Audimotive coilover suspension system with Koni shocks, and a front bumper from a European-spec car. More information about the aftermarket parts installed on this car is provided below.
    • Factory equipment includes 15-inch wheels, locking center and rear differentials, a rear spoiler, leather upholstery, power-operated windows and locks, and a cassette player.
    • Service records shown in the gallery detail most of the repairs, maintenance, and modifications performed on this Quattro since the early 2000s. The clutch master cylinder and a clutch line were replaced in January 2022 at 99,407 miles, and the list of parts replaced in 2021 includes the shift linkage, the engine mounts, the transmission mounts, the differential, and the seat bushings.
    • Celebrated as one of the most emblematic German cars of the 1980s, the Audi Quattro arrived for 1983 as a rally-bred evolution of the Coupe. It stood out from its front-wheel-drive sibling with a specific body kit, a turbocharged engine, and a full-time four-wheel-drive system. Executives never envisioned the Quattro as a volume model so only a small handful were brought to America between 1983 and 1985, but the coupe left a significant mark on the Audi range: it's the car that every RS model traces its roots to.
    • Power comes from a 2.2-liter turbocharged 5-cylinder engine, rated at about 162 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque when left stock. The seller states that the modifications increase those figures to 257 and 330 at the wheels, respectively, and a dyno sheet is pictured in the gallery. The engine spins the four wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission and Audi's Quattro all-wheel-drive system.
