BARN FIND! 1967 911S ENGINE (with 40IDS3C Webers)AND TRANS... WHAT IS IT WORTH??

I am not up on the early 2.0 mechanical parts prices... I have only been watching the 2.2 and 2.4 engines for the past 5-10 years.

What do you guys think a 100% complete 67S engine(with perfect IDS3C Webers) and a 901/02 trans is worth?

They were removed from a wrecked car in the early 1970s and stored inside and turned over regularly!

The engine supposedly only has 41,000 miles on it. The engine has never been apart and looking at everything closely and because it all 100% original (hoses, clamps, wires, rubber parts, etc) this milage seems very possible... Even the ORIGINAL Cad plating on some of the parts is still gold. I am very confident that with fresh oil and a tune-up that this engine will run great!

    Bueler, Bueler?

No one else has any opinions on the value of a 67 S Motor and trans?

I think it is worth $7,500 if I had to buy it. Maybe more to the right buyer who really needs it.

Can I get you to add the various numbers from the engine into my thread on Build #'s in the Technical section please. Also the transmission numbers are very useful.

Around November 2008 there was an engine on Ebay for $7500 that was very near (about 30 off) my engine number ( #961269 ), if that helps..
