    Vintage Momo Monza

This is a 355mm Momo Monza with flat spokes in beautiful condition & comes with a very rare early Momo horn push.

The wheel really is in amazing condition for its age - there is only one minor mark on the leather rim at the 6 o'clock position (virtually invisible when mounted) & small patch (almost imperceptible) of 'wear' at the 3 0'clock position ('wear' is too strong a word really).
On the rear near the centre there are a couple of scratches (again not visible when mounted).

WOW, I love that thing. I'm the nutty guy with 40 some odd steering wheels and I'm lusting after that beauty. Good luck with the sale, are you open to a trade perhaps???

Not really looking for any trades Nick.

I know what you mean about collecting steering wheels - I have 30+ myself & need to 'trim' the inventory ...

What date would you put on that lovely wheel/horn button?

Mike - I'd say it dates from the (very) late '60's/early '70's.

I'll put a plug in for this great wheel.

It's an extremely rare Monza in this configuration; with a thick grip (like a prototipo). Typically you would see a Momo Monza with a thinner grip with no thumb pads on the side spokes. Very unusual and very, very nice.

Also, an early Momo horn push like this with the stacked MO-MO and the chrome ring isn't all that easy to find.

    Mark,

I would expect that you would be all over this wheel. The plug is understandable but your position on the sidelines is surprising. I love to read your post about your wife commenting on your wheel collection when she says, "they all look the same" and you responding "how can you say that?" It's Pure joy.
