    Deep six date range

During what date range were the deep sixe's produced? Where they a one model year (69) only or made after as an option?

Earliest I have seen are datestamped second half of 68. The first year+/- production had the hart by the valve stem, the rest of the deep six production up until spring 71 did not have the hart. There are lots of threads about this if you search this forum.

    If you include the "deep 6" from the R (fronts) 901 361 020 03 early 6s start 6/67.
As I remember. I'll look it up if you need a exact date.
They were used until late 71 production. The wheels stopped about 3/71 but the cars with them may have a later production date.
There may be some cars that were pulled from the line for one reason or another and have a later date.
Also the change from the valve bump "heart" was for the 71 MY but I have seen two cars with bumps in the spare and non bumps on the car.
The spares clearly came from a different pile..
Both very early 71s. The non bump wheel was only made for about 9 months or so. less were made than the bump style. The bump was made for at least 2 years ...plus the race wheels.

I think one of my mine is a 6/68. Will have to look. BTW, Harvey restored it.
