Seems like the East Coast is going to be Porsche heavy both North and South next weekend!

Not only is Saturday the well-known Hershey meet (which I had the pleasure of attending with Gary a few years back - and even sold some of my Porsche art there!)

And on Saturday, the PCA Florida Crown Region will have their big swap meet at Brumos.

BUT, OUR main event is on Sunday the 25th and most of the festivities don't really get started til after noon, so even folks from Jacksonville could make it in time!!

We are celebrating the life and work of Gary Kempton, founder of GK Restorations and we are putting on a great party!

We are located just south of Tallahassee, Florida -

This event is free.

There is a fun tour/gimmick rally starting at 9 am hosted by our friends in the
PCA North Florida Region - arriving back at the shop around noon.

We open the festivities at 11 am, Concours judging starts at 2 pm
(ALL cars welcome, not just Porsches) - we have awards for MANY
categories...Best of Show, People's Choice, Car Gary would have
most liked driving along the Gulf Coast!

Live music all day.

An open house of GK Restorations with 3 master Porsche engine specialists
on hand: Vernon Crotts, Sigi Honl and Curt Zitza...we'll have trivia contests,
event t-shirts available, and live music all day and night!

AND a fun auction celebrating the diversity of Gary's wonderful collections
the auction starts at 4 pm.

the auction is also published on-line with items available to be bid on from now until the event starts AND when the auction is happening live]; the only things not available for live bidding are the toys (mostly Porsche and VW) and literature...you have to be on-site for them!

Night events include an outdoor projected slideshow of Gary and his life and work, bonfire and excellent live music for dancing all night.

Free beverages (including beer!)

BBQ - DELICIOUS smoked bbq! The truck comes with it's own smokers...fantastic pulled pork, ribs, brisket, fried oysters, mac n' cheese, cole slaw, baked beans. The food is about $10 per plate and will be on-site from noon - 7 pm.
