    Treffen Blog

Lying to the school district has become increasingly easier as the standards for passing a class has gone down; nowadays you can stand outside a classroom selling fake weed and earn partial credits. So I decided to take an "educational" trip to the Monterey Treffen with my Dad.

We are quite literally on the road right now, my Dad is drafting behind a semi-truck to increase the mileage of our Suburban which is trailering a car. My Dad hasn't started drinking yet though I have, and I ask that you tell my Dad to quit buying cheap beer.
And for those of you concerned about Kenik we haven't found him in a ditch anywhere, only next to one realizing that he forgot to mount his headlights. (Just Kidding we have not found him yet)

We are on our way to pick up Gary Emory in Oregon, and are hoping for an uneventful arrival into Monterey early Thursday evening.

The blog will continue. Pics to follow.

So, what do you get for selling REAL weed? Full credit?

I AM NOT in a ditch, but I did have to pull over and adjust the yellow headlights to better manage the snow over Grants Pass. WTF month is it again?

It's 1:13 AM, and at 80MPH, 45 minutes outside Redding, the stopover for the night. The last bolt was turned getting the SWB back on the road at 2PM today...got packed and got out. BTW, Portland rush hour traffic is not good for the trip timer. One chock full day, considering I woke up at 5:30 AM and the car was still missing the bumpers, trim and door panels.

Red Bull is my beacon at this fine hour...see you all in Monterey!

Have a good safe drive, and stay west of the Sierras!!! All the passes were closed or required chains.

I took the looooong way from Carson City to the Bay Area, but it was worth it.

See you guys tonight at Baja Cantina.
