Early Car - are you brave enough?

No affiliation. If it really is an S it's enough to make you cry.

    1966 911 S model *UPDATED*

    - one of a kind - vintage look / low mileage / Newly Rebuilt 3.0

Here is a 1966 Porsche 911 S model, updated with NEW vintage Porsche turbo parts. Color is cherry red with black interior. The exterior is in good condition: the body is straight, and the paint is fairly new, in good condition. Most of the body pieces are NEW along with some of the original 66" parts. The car has been with a family for quite some time and now a relative (current owner) has had his fun with it and looking to sell as he has other priorities at hand. This car is truly one of a kind and has been nicely updated with plenty of original Porsche vintage turbo exterior components, along with having its original 1966 911 body. It has a clean and clear title with current California tags. The engine is a newly rebuilt (August 2009), 3.0 1988 930 Porsche air/oil cooled engine. It has a Posi axle limited-slip transmission which is also newly rebuilt. Car only has close to 4k miles on rebuilt motor and transmission! Also added, is an 8pps high flow fuel intake and a new fuel sending unit. All paperwork, records, and receipts, are on hand for verification of all the work completed on engine and body. The car drives and handles very nicely. The Falken performance tires are in good condition, size 225/50/R15's. The wheels are a set of Mags, black and polished aluminum. Everything serviced and maintained up to date. The interior is all black, full-leather interior. Interior is ALL ORIGINAL except for the new headliner just recently installed. Interior is in good condition and clean. The seats are original and in good condition with no tears or rips. Electronic speedometer and gauges were added at the time of re-built engine. Everything inside is working properly and ultimately; is original and in good condition! The owner would love to keep the car as he has put a lot of time and money into making this a fun toy but has other priorities of importance at the moment. For any questions or concerns, please contact.

It is very common to look at the heater type and read "66S"

Dig that 'all original interior.' Not to mention the invisible turbo setup on the engine. It's near enough I could go look at it, but I fear it would cost not only gas but my most recent meal.

Hmm, I have that listed as being for sale on eBay in July 2009 with a very early 2.0 engine # 900348. Location given then was Laguna Beach.

Some smart fella bought it in '09 for the early 2.0 motor, dropped a "new" motor in it and put the car back on the market.
