Got mine from Marek today. Its excelent work!
I took a close up of the cap so that it shows that the standard cap is painted metallic grey.
(So it's not satin aluminium like finish like the first picture in Mareks post)

But other than that, again, excellent work!

    HI Alex

You are correct of the satin finish , we took a last decision
to give a tinny layer of clear coat , I will correct the post , sorry
in my opinion is though not as shiny as metalic paint
The satin layer was so so so delicate that if you scratch it with your nails
it will leave a mark ,
another thing is the rubber gasget you must cut 1 -2 cm of and glue it together after you adjusted it to your tank

and as mention before the paint is just a epoxy protection paint
you must paint it after welding

i am looking forward to hear some opinions / pictures on this
positive or negative , thats the game
    - 15 kits in the mail to US

    Regards

    Marek

    Marek,

Perhaps you could try to take a stainless steel cap and have it gently fine grain, blasted for satin finish?
If that works, I would be interested in a 2nd cap.

I'm really hapy with the set Marek.
It will look great on our '72 lightweight project car.

lwb fender trims (400Euro for a set of 4 )
    lwb dash facia
+ small things like lightweight letaher door stops etc

And I am looking forward to see some PICS of the throught the hood filler kit

it appears that DHL is not that strong on the US market
so fare ALL kits have arrived ,
but with a delay it appears there is a difference in east /west coast delivery
few are still in the mail , to you guys hang on

I would try to find other shipping vendors ,ups , gls, tnt
but so fare DHL for 35 EURO weight under 5 kg to SU is the cheapest I have found

no problem in EU delivery 2-3 days

I still got this kit on stock, over 50 sold ,everybody is happy

please post pics of your conversions

    Regards

    Marek
