Seen it. Not so good. Need thousands of dollars of work...Nadellas, Solex issues, timing chains, leaks galore...interior and much, much more. Big rust under the vinyl thresholds and more. It will take a brave soul to attack this one. Owner listening to a vintage Chevy guy for advice. Why? Not sure, but he's twice the market for the car.

I asked for VIN and engine number and the reply was "already sold"...

To set the record straight. A very good friend bought this car and we went all over this car today and there is absolutely no rust in the thresholds (or elsewhere for that matter) in this car. Solid, solid, solid.

It does have leaking issues no doubt, but the fantastic records and books trump that many times over IMHO.

Love the wood dash on these cars.

I beg to differ. Had a full PPI with a noted local at my side. Peel the vinyl back and start digging. This one is cool, but will need lots of $$$$. I hope it was bought well. Can I add that the odometer was broken and noted on the PPI...

I looked at this car with Brian on Sunday. It's a beautiful, un-molested, extremely well documented survivor. Even at full asking price it represents a fair value. Not seeing big $$$ needed to be spent to make this one spectacular!

    Just my 2 cents.....

    Interesting

Some interesting and divergent comments. Let's see some real pics not these silly teaser shots that look like someone is trying to create controversy.

$55k is big money but, I do agree, for a really nice one would be OK. Thanks.
