Porsche show on LI/NY Old Westbury

Anyone going? I may be there with some 356's. Always a very nice setting with heavy judging involved(I not like).

Bring your tan slacks and navy crested jackets! Should be a sunny warm day.

What is up with the crested jacket and pants.?? Is this a formal event? I was hoping, if I can get there, to be wearing a polo shirt and shorts. Does that work?

Excellent show on LI. Perfect day and lots of nice cars on the great lawns of Old Westbury Gardens (watch 'North By Northwest' Hitchcock-many scenes shot there during filming in '59). There were some '59 A's there!

Missed my camera but some really nice local 356's and early 911/912's I have never seen. There were three(THREE) nice 912's in one place! Also a perfect white 67S in very original condition from NJ.

Anybody take pics please post a few. Where was the 'S' Metro crew with their nice early cars?? Rennman? Denson? Karl? Steven NYC? NJ? Conn? Someone had an RS white/blue car there.

It couldn't have been a better day for a drive(with not much LI traffic to boot)

    Thanks.
