After years of watching others in the community having early car events, a renagade group of devotes are trying to develop a calender of drives and gatherings. Today a crew of six gather in the early light for the first of what hopefully will be many meetings celebrating our passion, left to right Vince, Jeff, Lee, Ed and John.

First stop was Lee's house. I was running a bit late I had forgotten my camera. I never was much of a photographer until I showed up here. My late start created the need for a spirited 35 mile Turnpike sprint cruising at speeds normally reserved for our gov rendell's driver. Arriving there I found Lee and his lovely wife Glenna waiting out front. I got my first phot op of the day. Lee's signal yellow RSR and my gulf blue hot rod. Lee needs to weigh in on the details of his exhaust; Let just say you can be five cars back at 60+ and hear its howl. Lee and I met here on the regisrty's parts board both looking for the replica Cibie lights. As you can see here we both made the aquisition.....

625AM and We headed around the corner to meet the other cars ..... We met the John and Ed. John had his S Targa. Ed's Sporto was out of action with a sore ball joint.

Vince from Delaware.....

He arrived driving a snorting 3.6L longhood track dog reeking of character. This car brought some serious ugly to the group. So low it spent most of the morning plowing up the pebbles. Unfortunately, he kicked them all over me!

Bucks County has a collection of beautiful bridges Lee mapped a route.... first one more car, a classic 1967 SWB 911. Tastefully striped w/ Bob Tilton's, well set-up.

The RSR deserves an excellence spread..... Many authentic parts on a car that is as close to the real thing without being one. Lee drove it with abandon.

Purchased a year ago in New England this car was very well bought. 88,000 mile two owner in perfect condition. Conclusion of the day was Jeff was going to need a permission slip if he wants to modify it. The car is perfect .....
