Thumbs up Classic Trophy in Zandvoort, The Netherlands (picture heavy)

Just got home from the Classic Trophy held in Zandvoort, The Netherlands.
It was a day full of races in different classes with a lot of Porsche material!

Active races were driven by a handful of SWB 911 which were literally thrown round the track, amazing to see!
In another class also several RS's en RSR participated

Also nice was a demo run of 2 550 spyders together with Gijs van Lennep's 73 RS.
The blue 550 was driven by Van Lennep today.

Last race a perfectly restored orange 904 participated, no words to describe how cool it is to see and hear this beauty on full speed!
Same goes for the 550’s, my ears are still ringing
The two red SWB ran with Solex carbs and sounded SWEEEEEET!

Sorry for all the pics, got a bit carried away

Car #59 is a from a fellow board member. This weekend was his maiden race.

All 65/66 911's run on Solex carbs, all rebuild by Duel who as a matter of fact build all 5 911s 65/66 that were apparently racing there today.

The 904 has been in the US for a long time when it was owned by Wayne Baker (southern CA).
