    Certificate of Authenticity

My friend has a '73 S with a Production Completion Date however my '73 S
COA doesn't state a date. Anyone know why? Our serial numbers are 187 apart.

My COA states option code G03 followed by these options:

    Koni Shocks instead of 'Boge'

    Wheel well moldings

    Manual antenna-left w/front loudspeaker
    and noise suppression

    Sunroof

    Dunlop Tires

What does "Option Group G03 mean? Does it mean what's stated on the options above?

As always thanks for your help.

The information given on a COA seems to depend a lot on who prepares it. Ten or 15 years ago the guys seemed to get more out of the data available. I think it all in the interpretation of the data they have.

    Dave,

Does any of the other info mean anything to you i.e. G03?

Try contacting Kristen Richford @the Porsche COA office if you haven't already. She was pretty helpful with fixing my bad COA.

A little searching here & on Pelican did not come up with much except this:

    and this:

Judging by the photos and the window sticker it is highly likely that G03 is AC & tinted windows since the car has both, and are not listed on the WS as separate options.
