Porsche 1967 911S, Polo Red restored

Not mine,.... BUT... I did see this car in Monterey when I was down there for the RGruppe Treffen a few weeks ago. I had my son Andy with me, and walked him around the car a bit, pointing out a few details to him on this restored car.

Feel free to discuss, it's a BIN at $105,000....

    cheers,
    Eric

"This car has been restored and is in concours condition."

Too many things jump out to even consider the insane $$$ asked.

    Oh yes, tempting...
I can't decide what's my favorite mistake here. It's not the steering wheel, that's to easy. Is it the riveted washer bottle?
    No, this is my favorite:

I think this shows true dedication in a concours restoration and real courage to show this picture in a sales advert.

Interesting. I had this car in my database already, and it was for sale in a Panorama from 1978 and located in Colorado at the time.

I wonder it this is the car that Dave Conklin and I looked at when we were in Monty last August for the Historics? Our hotel was close to Mohr Imports and they had a red '67S coupe for sale, for I think, in the $60K range. It was a rough driver when we saw it. Maybe the owner had it 'restored' in the meantime.

Brian, That was my guess as well. The restoration is pretty recent from my take on the car.

Mohr appears to be for the most part the consignee of a lot of the cars they have from most of the research I've done. Not much bad said about them at all (if any), the owner is a longtime Ferrari guy and runs the business with his son.

I'll just say that the car looks better in pictures, and leave it at that.

    regards,
    Eric

How about the obviously replaced front pans with the gooped up seam sealer hiding who knows what. Are there really stupid enough people who might consider buying something like this POS?
